Scenery gallery
Tina-Renae’s landscapes are largely intuitive, blended with research and experience. The resulting creations are magical and colourful, showing worlds from this reality, filtered through the artist’s imaginative eyes.
Flutter
‘Landscape of the mind series’
Flutter was inspired from a walk in the grassy fields of the French alps. From the memory of the grass and the afternoon light on the backdrop of mountains, I recreated the scene with pure imagination. On the bottom half of the painting is the raw version of the memory, painted in the sub-conscious language of colour, line and form. The burst of butterflies joins the two realities together.

Toutes les saisons, Mont Blanc
This painting is inspired by waking up each morning to see Mont Blanc.
Each season that passes is just as beautiful as the next.
In winter, I love looking up to the sky to let the snowflakes fall on my face. In autumn, I love looking at the stunning colours of red, orange and yellow.
In spring, the paddocks turn a bright green and the air is fresh and crisp. Summer arrives in a progression of different wildflowers as the paddocks turn yellow.
The pink in the mountain happens all year round, when the sun sets, except it is more orange in winter.
For fauvism fans.

Montgolfières (Aiguilles de warrens)
Surrealist painting of hot air balloons floating around a mountain floating on clouds, in the French alps.
This mountain that I open my bedroom window to looks like a castle. The changes of colour, through the different seasons and time of day, are amazing. Sometimes the whole valley is hidden under a veil of clouds and hot air balloons can be seen regularly floating around the mountains. I add a universe underneath, for who knows what exists under there, when we cannot see under the veil?

Vers le Mont Blanc 4
This painting is a tribute to the artist Géo Dorival
This tribute is a combination of his last three popular works, with the addition of Géo Dorival’s profile in the shadow. The rail has been gilded to symbolise the value of the region. The Cubist influence found in his work has been amplified in the way the colours of the mountain have been placed. Depending on the light and the position, Géo’s profile disappears to look more like Géo Dorival’s original work ‘Vers le Mont Blanc.’

Glasshouse mountains
Acrylic on stretched cotton canvas, 2007
Using an old photograph, I recreated the scene of a classic car rumbling down a gravel road in the beautiful Glasshouse Mountains on Australia’s east coast.
